I’ve always been into tech. Grew up around computers, moved into automation early during my finance career, I’m connected to smart people… so I thought I had a good handle on where things were going. I’d invested hundreds of thousands of dollars into education around technology and my own web projects. I’d built thousands of websites, developed mobile and web apps, helped steer $100m dollar IT projects in my day job.

Then a friend called me out of the blue in 2025 and said, “You need to see this.”

I wasn’t expecting much, but we spent a couple of days building a working web app. No code. No team. Just using AI tools that already exist. Honestly, my mind was blown. Things that used to take weeks and cost thousands were suddenly… doable. The thing he kept saying.. you have to stop thinking the old way. Without his nudge and insistence I wouldn’t have got it.
